Spring 2021 Confirmation

The Bishop's Office has not yet scheduled Confirmations for Spring 2021. We appreciate your patience as we await more details.

RETREAT INFORMATION

The Confirmation Retreat has three parts:
Part I – 5 days Scripture reading & reflection at home with a parent or sponsor
Part II – Required In person encounter – Jan 16 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the church – full compliance with mask wearing, social distancing and sanitizing guidelines will be strictly followed. Confession will be offered so we need your RSVP to be sure we have the correct number of priests in attendance. This is for the students only, sponsors & parent do not attend this part.
Part III – Mass at 4PM a special mass for just the Confirmation candidates will be offered. Parent/sponsors will be welcome to attend based on numbers so again your RSVP is important.

For those who can't attend the gathered retreat on January 16
Part I – you will also do the same Scripture study as above before you do part II
Part II – Follow this link and do this free online retreat https://diocesefwsb.org/confirmation-retreat/ it includes questions for the candidate to discuss with their sponsor, or parent. Written answers to these questions must be emailed to me no later than January 23
Part III - Reconciliation - As with all Sacraments, one must be in a state of grace to receive Confirmation. Please be sure to arrange for your child to go to confession before the Confirmation.
