Welcome to The Church of the Holy Spirit!

The love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us (Romans 5:5)

Welcome to the Church of the Holy Spirit in Stamford, Connecticut.  Our hope and prayer is that you use this website as families and individuals for the purposes of information, evangelization, catechesis, and holiness  - that Christ be formed in all of us to the fullness of charity.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Our rectory will be open summer hours of
10AM - 2PM
the week of August 1-5

PilgrimsPlease keep praying for our parish pilgrims to World Youth Day, Poland

(This weekend they will be visiting the site of the Auschwitz concentration camp.)

God, merciful Father, in your Son, Jesus Christ, you have revealed your love and poured it out upon us in the Holy Spirit, the Comforter,
We entrust to you in a special way the young people and chaperones of our parish
And those of every language, people and nation.
Guide and protect them as they walk the complex paths of the world today
and give them the grace to reap abundant fruits
from their experience of the Krakow World Youth Day.

Heavenly Father, grant that they and we all may bear witness to your mercy.
Teach them and us how to convey the faith to those in doubt,
hope to those who are discouraged,
love to those who feel indifferent,
forgiveness to those who have done wrong
and joy to those who are unhappy.

Allow the spark of merciful love that you have enkindled within us
become a fire that can transform hearts and renew the face of the earth.

Mary, Mother of Mercy, Pray for them, Bless and Protect them.
Saint John Paul II, Pray for them, Bless and Protect them.
Saint Faustina, Pray for them, Bless and Protect them. Amen.
