Welcome to The Church of the Holy Spirit!

The love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us (Romans 5:5)

From Our Pastor

Dear Parishioners of Holy Spirit Parish,
These are unprecedented and trying times! But we are, after all, in the season of Lent. We began Lent being reminded on Ash Wednesday of our mortality and the need to repent and believe in the Gospel. The term “Gospel” means “good news” which is founded in the truth that God is always with us and in His grace we can be drawn closer to Him! We are a strong community, banding together through faith and love of God and we need to persevere in our trust of God. We can become a stronger community if we were to turn away from our personal sins and pride, that convinces us we are self-sufficient and can be in control, and rely instead on God’s Grace. This is a time when God can make us saints, trust Him!
Each of you remain in my prayers, lets all be sure to pray for each other.
Father Suarez

  • For now, the church will remain open during the day from 8AM to 5PM if parishioners would like to individually visit the Blessed Sacrament.
A private Mass will continue to be celebrated at Holy Spirit Parish daily by Fr. Suarez to fulfill the requested Mass intentions and to pray for our parish community. Welcome to the Church of the Holy Spirit in Stamford, Connecticut.  Our hope and prayer are that you use this website as families and individuals for the purposes of information, evangelization, catechesis, and holiness  - that Christ be formed in all of us to the fullness of charity.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen
